With a Heat wave predicted it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try out a Kveik Yeast.
A starter of Omega Yeast Hornindal Kveik was pitch into 100 litres of hoppy wort at 23C with an SG of 1.052
Within 18 hours the beer was happily bubbling with a thick krausen at 28c and rising and the gravity had dropped to 1.040
So far no off flavours despite the temperature.
